Music for two senses
Born in 1980 in Drummondville, Samuel Laflamme's interest toward film music composition started as a teenager. After piano studies, he enters Montreal University in electro-acoustic composition in 2001.
While studying, he starts his composer carrier in tv, advertisement, documentaries and short movies.
He develops then a wide sound palette from classical orchestration, modern writing and electronic composition. Always in an intimate relation with the images he composes for, his soundtracks attest refinement, originality, subtle and mind, whatever the style is (corporative presentations, advertisement, tv series, animations or short movies).
He gets his first nomination in 2006 for Quebec's "Best musical theme, all categories" with "Ding et Dong: la vraie histoire".
He has now over 75 documentaries and more than 200 tv shows to his credit.
